Manufacturing

Synde
crete is committed not only to providing an alternative material containing recycled materials to the market, but also to minimizing waste and incorporating environmentally responsible practices into the manufacturing and management of the company. In 1991, Syndecrete commissioned an environmental and toxicology assessment of its products, facility and operations. The study examined operations to insure the provision of a healthy and environmentally sound working condition, and to maximize the active recycling of materials in the manufacturing process. Recycling efforts include the filtering and recycling of polishing water, recovery and reuse of form building materials, and the collection and reactivation of Syndecrete dust. All internal and external marketing documents are printed using 100% recycled paper and soy based inks. Waste paper and periodicals are shredded for packaging materials, which clients are encouraged to reuse.
